It has beautiful architecture, lots of fountains and green spaces, and plenty of great restaurants and wine bars! In fact, from the posts I did see, I expected not to like it. Let’s start with the beautiful parts! The main city of Yerevan is HIGHLY underrated!!! I’m not going to lie, I did not find a lot of amazing posts convincing me to go there. Welcome to #ARMENIA ! My 120th country and a place I wish I could have spent more time in but sadly they are under attack and there wasn’t much I could do besides share the beautiful parts I saw and explain what’s actually happening there. #traveltips #travelhacks #weekendwanderlust #simcards #travelblogger #mylifesatravelmovie #solofemaletravel #solotravel

Google Fi was a good option but not for ppl traveling full time bc you have to be in the US 75% of the time to use it and yes, they track you and will cut you off.Īnyone have questions about connectivity abroad? Also hotspots can be affordable but IMO it’s another thing to remember to charge & if you forget, you lose service. OTHER OPTIONS: many ppl opt to use their carriers global data plans but one day of usage usually costs the same as a few weeks of SIM card usage. *NOTE: the new iPhone 14 that’s sold in US will no longer have a physical SIM card slot 👎 PROS: easy to set up (usually just pop it in), very cheap, strong data, local calling, local number (you still can use your own number for WhatsApp)ĬONS: have to buy in person (sometimes hard to find a shop or may not be open), sometimes difficult to top up, you end up with a lot of little cards like me PHYSICAL SIM CARDS: small chips that go in your phone and give you access to the local cellular networks. Pros: convenient, don’t have to go find a kiosk/store, immediate service when you arrive, easy to tip up from the appĬons: more expensive, lower data strength, don’t work in all countries, usually don’t include local calling or numbers

THIRD: detailed info plus HOW TO USE both options is on the most recent post on my blog!ĮSIMs: electronic SIM cards that can be downloaded from an app (info on my blog) and installed on your phone so you get data as soon as you land in the country you’re going to. Plz keep in mind I have been traveling full time for 8 years, so this is just my opinion after using most options 😜 SECOND: I get a lot of input about what’s best for you data while traveling. Weekend Travel Tips: The difference between eSIM vs SIM Cards & what your other options are!įIRST: your phone MUST be unlocked to use either of the options! Call your carrier to unlock it or buy one in full with unlocked option. I sacrificed lots of awkward moments trying to film myself holding a phone up backwards, so you better show me some awesomely edited travel photos!! So if you’re interested in learning how to edit travel photos in an extremely quick and easy way, please take 6 minutes to watch the video that I made for you. Snapseed was actually recommended to me by a real photographer, and I’ve had lots of fun tweaking the settings and filters to create my own hybrid of semi-professional, semi-looks-like-a-fairytale type photos.

Since a lot of people ask how I edit my travel photos, I decided to finally make a quick tutorial showing the typical process I do using a free phone app called Snapseed ( no this post isn’t sponsored by them, yes I think it should be) .

Oh, and by “properly”, I mean “easily adjust a few things on a basic photo editing app”, so don’t worry if you have absolutely no idea where to even start with editing. Unfortunately most of the cool stuff you see with your eyes, doesn’t always get captured by your camera, UNLESS you know how to properly edit travel photos.
