I am not sure if this has anything to do with the backups but just wanted to add it. I rebooted server, things seemed to be running smoother but symantec console still listed the main server as "threatened". It found a ton of W32.MyDoom viruses, I quarentined them and then deleted them - it was mostly spam mail junk. I opened up antivirus console for the server and it showed the server with a red x saying "Threat found'. When I looked at it there was an error, store.exe had crashed, there were tons of viruses caught by symantec antivirus. On my first day I was informed that nothing has been done maintenance wise to the server in some time. I have no clue if any of that is being written, I am guessing no. When I view the Job History the set detail information for each listed backup operation states that 0 bytes were written and gives this error "Error e00084f4 - unknown error" Unknown error is so specific lol.but thats what it says! So is it even backing anything up at all? The weird thing is the Job Summary is telling me the byte count is 37,147,961,307 bytes with 75,901 files and 7,763 directories. Insufficient system resources exist to complete requested service".
The error we're getting when we read the job log states "Device HP 1 reported error on request to write data to media".
